Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane are both crucial players for English Premier League giants Liverpool, according to former Manchester City player Emmanuel Adebayor. The two African stars who play for their national teams, Egypt and Senegal respectively, have engraved their names in the history of Liverpool, as well as endearing themselves into the hearts of the fans of the Football Club. Since Salah joined the Reds from Italian Serie A giants AS Roma and Mane was signed from Premier League side Southampton, they have both proven to be evergreen signings for Liverpool following the consistency they have shown for years in delivering the goods.
They have established a formidable partnership during their time at Anfield and have already become legends because of their fine performances and the number of goals they have both contributed in the last couple of years. And Adebayor has now revealed that he believes that the duo of Salah and Mane has become one of the best the Premier League has seen in recent times, claiming that they are both special gifts to Liverpool and their fans, especially because of how much consistency they have been showing for the past few years.
Adebayor believes that Liverpool have the two stars to thank for part of the recent successes they’ve enjoyed in recent times, including winning the UEFA Champions League title, as well as other trophies, including the English Premier League crown after a long drought, and most recently, the League Cup. However, former Arsenal striker Adebayor says that the Reds should start making plans to replace thier two stars as they are slowly approaching the end of their careers. He urged the club to start scouting for younger stars they can sign as their replacements so they won’t live to regret it later in the future.
